Just FYI, like many RPGs KOTOR gets much easier once all your abilities come online and you get decent gear. I must say, despite my struggles with the combat/stats, I’m really enjoying the investigation and mystery within the first couple of hours. I put 13 in everything at the start and have upgraded the strength stat by a couple of points since.

Are there any recommended weapons I could purchase or acquire to help me out? I’ve been in some shops in the upper city but I’m almost overwhelmed by all the options (and stats tbh). Thing is I’m not that great at anything other than pure action combat where I’m in direct control of what’s going on and because of this I’m kinda getting my arse handed to me.Īny advice on the best approach to combat then?
